Comments: Lake St. Clair, Lake Huron, Lake Michigan, Lake Erie comments: 狢 enjoy this boat immensly and often single hand her. I used to sail Catalinas and Coronados, but with the finer entry, lower balast and wine glass shape, the Seidelmann 25 is awesome to sail in choppy water like one would find in Lake St. Clair with all the boat wakes. I understand why they did not sell as well as they could have tho....the S25 is very tender for the first 10-15 degrees. This attribute makes it a slightly combersom boat at the dock. For me it is an exceptional boat because I like to sail, not sit at the dock.

Mods: I have been restoring Pure Energy to her former glory. Her hull is nearly pristeen - the original gelcoat is awesome! the only issues I have had are: 1. The previous owner put the companion way boards in backwards - hence water has deteriorated the floor in the rear, behind the galley. 2. A slight window leak - taken care of with a little sealant. Next winter I plan on adding roller furling and replacing the electronics.
