Home Port: Coyote Point, CA Owner: Jim Atcheson, Email: jatcheson@swedcom.com Cruising Area: San Francisco Bay Comments: Beer-can racing on the south bay in 15 to 30 knots of wind, heavy chop= to waterline. once heeled is very stable. over 20 knots performs best with 1 reef in main and 90% jib. cockpit sized right for two, three's a bit cramped. fairly dry in normal(nasty) bay conditions. just tiller and mainsheet and not much else to distract from sailing the boat. no good way to set anchor line from bow without excessive chafing. Mods: As far as I can tell is mostly original. I've added a jib downhaul to complete all lines to the cockpit. The bow is no place to be on my end of the bay. |
